Cornerstone Charitable Clinic

Lori Kennedy, Director

Cornerstone Charitable Clinic was established in 1998 to address the growing need for primary and preventative health care for the uninsured in Tarrant County and surrounding areas. The clinic provides free comprehensive medical care to uninsured adults. All clinic services are provided by licensed physicians and nurses who volunteer their time at the Cornerstone Clinic and are covered by liability insurance. Volunteer medical professionals and clinic staff provide a wide variety of services to patients including: primary medical care, specialty care in dermatology, internal medicine, gynecology, orthopedics, and ophthalmology. Patients are seen by appointment only and must meet eligibility requirements. All services are available in English and Spanish. Click here to read about patient requirements. You must submit an application , Formularios de solicitud along with supporting documents.

The clinic partners with other healthcare organizations in the community to obtain services, such as, lab, imaging and well woman screenings to name. We also partner with the University of Texas at Arlington, Texas Christian University, UNT Health Science Center and Tarrant County College to provide internship and volunteer opportunities for students pursuing careers in healthcare.

Cornerstone Charitable Clinic believes in not only meeting immediate health needs, but also in educating patients on how to take personal control of their health. Ongoing care and consultation is available for patients learning to live with high blood pressure, respiratory ailments, heart disease, and diabetes. Patients who may face chronic health issues may be referred for education, healthy cooking, or fitness classes available at Cornerstone. These wellness events are often open to community members who also want to live healthy lives.
